I’m
sure just about everyone in the SPN fandom knows that JP wants Sam to
be the one to save Dean. In fact the quote is “I really want to see Sam
being the one to save Dean. It’s gotta be Sam and no one else.” This
was during Jibcon 2014.
There were some awws and damn straights about this quote but isn’t it something that JP actually felt the need to say this in the first place? And to stress the point that it has to be Sam ALONE who saves Dean. As in, no Castiel.
Is this how bad the show has been derailed? That one of the stars feels compelled to state what should be the obvious? That he should have to remind the showrunners/writers of this Sam fact?
Fans know not everything is well behind the scenes with their show when one of the stars feels the need to say out loud the importance of his character and what actions said character must take in the upcoming season.

It’s the last day of school and some of my old students came into see me before first exam started. They were showing me their favorite celebrity crushes on their iPad … all younglings, mostly “famous” youtubers that look like fetuses to me…
So I sat back in my teacher chair and braced for a teachable moment.
"Girls, let me show you my celebrity crush."
